Great challenges are constantly being reported by members of KP communities while trying to access health services. Services rendered to members of these communities have also been reported to be of poor quality as a result of health care workers’ stigma and discrimination practices.

A revolutionary way to which the KP community is contributing to improving the quality of health services towards itself has been through the participation in monitoring mechanisms such as CLM and social accountability mechanisms that provide feedback to the health facilities. Additionally, the KP communities within countries have been implementing drop-in centers that provide quality and confidential health services to members of the KP community as well as an established network of peers that assist in linkage to quality health services. In order to ensure that the delivery of services towards in-country KP communities improves, KP-TNC builds the capacities of KP consortia to effectively engage at multi-stakeholder levels and to also to build the required evidence.
