The security and safety of Key Population communities is increasingly at risk. These communities are faced with increasing criminalization, harassment, discrimination, stigma and threats of violence on a daily basis. To a large extent, the well being and rights of Key Populations continue to deteriorate, risking adverse outcomes in their well-being.  With respect to upholding KP human rights, KP-TNC’s advocates for the following :     

Countries are requested to create empowering laws that guarantee the increased well being  of all their citizens. A call is also made to the international community to assist countries move away from deepening criminalization to creating more spaces for inclusion. More inclusion is great as it will not only increase overall well being of all citizens including Key Populations but also assist in advancing HIV gains.
